  • The 8 ohm JBL D8R2452 is a genuine JBL replacement diaphragm specifically for the JBL 2452H High Frequency Driver which can be found on JBL SRX722 and SRX725 Speakers. It is shipped to you sealed just as we get it from JBL. NOTE #1: Versions of the JBL SRX722, 722/F, 725 and 725/F will have different drivers...in the SRX722 systems they started the 2452H driver at serial number 11415 (prior to that number they used the 2451H-1) and switched to the 2453H at serial number 21617...then with the SRX725 systems begining with system serial #15053 they used the 2452H driver (prior to that the 2451H-1) and then, in August of 2011 starting with serial #30981 they used the 2453H driver. So, the double 12" SRX and the double 15" SRX had different HF drivers at different times. Each driver requires a different diaphragm...please be careful and determine the driver you have before selecting the diaphragm to fit it...returns for your mistakes are not allowed. All information about serial numbers is provided by JBL technical manuals available online. If you have questions about this item and its application to your driver, email jack@jacksmusicfactory.com to discuss the problem before ordering. Thanks to our client Cervando in Texas we know that some additional work needs to be done to replace this diaphragm in the 2452 driver. He sent the top jpg by phone to show the two pushbutton studs that attach to the diaphragm and penetrate thru the cover of the driver. These studs do not come installed on the new diaphragm. You will be removing the studs from the old diaphragm and transferring them to the new diaphragm. The new diaphragm comes with additional instructions from JBL on the technique involved in swapping these studs. Apply positive voltage to the red terminal.

  • Order carefully. Returns for your mistakes are not allowed.
